Green View Clarks Inn

Please don't send them money. I paid an advance through UPI using the hotel name, and they blocked my number right after the payment. This looks like fraud.

The rooms were just okay for a three-star hotel, but the rest of our overnight stay was awful. The towels were dirty, torn, and had holes, and the WiFi never worked. We complained, but nobody fixed it. After arriving late, we ate at the in-house restaurant. The food was really bad, and the tables weren't clean. Staff didn't respond and were rude on top of that. They charged 39 rupees for a one-litre water bottle, which felt like they were taking advantage of guests. The stay was very poor for what we paid.

Dinner was good, but breakfast was cold and unappetizing, and they charged us for it at checkout despite saying it was free. The room smelled strange, had cockroaches everywhere, and the service was poor. The shower didn't work, the toilet was broken, and the extra bed was partly broken too. A disappointing stay, and I wouldn't recommend the hotel.

The rooms were clean, and the staff were good about giving us a late checkout. The hotel is close to the railway station, but that doesn't justify the price here, since you can get around by auto, including trips of about 5 km in 10-12 minutes. I've stayed in other hotels too, and for this price the rooms feel small, the bathroom is tiny, and there's no bathtub. You can get the same kind of room for half the price. For what you get compared with other options around the city, it doesn't add up.
