The butter chicken was extremely sweet, almost like sugar mixed with hot water. I couldn’t tell if it was butter chicken or “chicken butter.” On top of that, they charge premium prices. The plates were very old looking and smelled bad, like they weren’t washed properly. My friends said the place used to be very good, so I’m not sure why the taste and service are being compromised now. To the owner, please improve the basics, especially clean, hygienic plates and food quality. Customers will pay premium prices when the food quality and taste match the price.

Bright palace offers a very different dining experience in shimoga. The Arabian dishes have a lovely aroma, rich gravies, and tender meat that reminded me of Hyderabad-style food. Their nalli bihari is outstanding. A great place for family dinners.

Very bad, only two pieces in the full chicken biryani.

Don’t go. It smells really bad, like a coffin room, and you’ll regret spending your time and money. Cockroaches will bite you all over at night.

Offline service is fine. For online orders, they charge more but give significantly less food.
