The AC was switched off after a while, even though I had booked an AC room. The controls are kept at reception, so guests don't seem to have control over it.

Cockroaches were scattered through the room and bathroom, and dust covered the furnishings. I couldn't bring myself to sit on the chair or even the bed. The room itself was set up properly, but the AC never worked despite the service boys trying several remotes. I'd paid for an AC room and only had a one-day trip, so I couldn't wait around for them to fix it. The stay wasn't worth what I paid.

Apple Sai Residency is handy if you're coming to Shirdi by private bus, since it's close to the private bus complex. It's not right by the main temple, but the staff can help with directions or local transport. The place felt clean and well kept, and the rooms were comfortable whether you choose AC or non-AC. Hot water is available around the clock, which is useful after a journey or a day out. Food is served throughout the day, with South Indian tiffins from morning to evening. The staff were friendly and ready to help with questions, including how to get to the temple or around Shirdi. A comfortable stay for pilgrims or visitors, with the bus location and flexible meal times making things easier.

I booked one room at Apple Sai Residency, but the receptionist said I owed money for a second room that I hadn't used. They wouldn't listen when I tried to explain. The interaction was unpleasant, and the receptionist behaved badly and used vulgar language. Very unprofessional.
