Hotel 9 Coin

The location made things easy, with just a short walk to the mandir, and the hotel arranged an auto for us. Since we were traveling with an infant, the staff's advice about the darshan queue and the best time to go was especially helpful. Everyone was humble and polite, room service was excellent, and our room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it for a peaceful, comfortable visit to Shirdi.

The temple isn't close enough to walk to, so plan for that. Still, this was good value overall: the rooms were large, the toilets clean, the service good and the food decent. I checked in directly at the last minute after leaving another hotel, and was surprised by the cleanliness and service. One thing to check when booking is breakfast. They said complimentary breakfast wasn't included and cost extra, though nobody had asked us about it.

The rooms at Hotel 9 Coin are spacious and clean, and the restaurant food is good. It's also very close to the Shirdi Sai Baba temple. Our stay was affected a little by poor coordination between housekeeping and room service: although we checked in well after the scheduled time, we had to ask for towels several times. Service improvements would make an otherwise good place much better.

We were three women visiting Shirdi and stayed at 9 coin hotel in sept 2025. I usually read reviews to help choose a hotel, but have often wondered if they're genuine. I've decided to start posting my own, in case it helps someone. Our room and bathroom were very clean, and the staff were polite and helpful. We didn't use the restaurant, but there are lots of places to eat nearby. The biggest plus is how close the hotel is to the temple. No complaints at all, and I'd highly recommend it.
