Hotel Laxmibai Palace

The room was decent and clean, but the bathroom was tiny, almost like a pigeon hole. There was no cupboard for our clothes or things, and the washroom right beside the door affected privacy. We also had no kettle or hot water in the room, so we had to call the restaurant each time we wanted tea or water. I booked and paid for a Deluxe room through Agoda, but at arrival they said the booking had shifted to Booking.com and showed as a non-AC room. I was first given a non-AC room, then had to pay an extra ₹500 for AC, which was disappointing. The room quality was acceptable, but the booking mix-up, extra charge, and missing basics affected the stay. Better coordination and facilities are needed.

A budget friendly place with amazing food. The staff were kind and well behaved, and didn't cause any inconvenience.

It felt peaceful and relaxing, and the food was delicious. The hotel was clean and beautifully maintained, with friendly staff who were always ready to help. We had a wonderful experience and would recommend it.

The room photos on Google looked quite different from the actual room, which felt misleading. Our room was very small and not cleaned properly, and the overall hygiene needs to improve. Disappointing stay.
