OYO 7710 Kundan Regency

Our stay was comfortable, and both the room and washroom were clean. The room service, though, had one odd lapse. We’d booked an executive room for three and asked for three cups in the morning. Two fresh cups arrived, but for the third, staff washed a used cup in the room washroom and brought it back. The stay was good overall, but that wasn’t handled professionally.

Breakfast tasted good, and the location is the one real plus. The rooms were bad, the bathrooms were especially bad, and the linens and towels were horrible. I don’t expect star hotel behavior, since they may not have had that kind of training, but the place was still disappointing. There’s a restaurant that mostly doesn’t function, except during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The breakfast buffet had plenty of options, and the property was well maintained. Rooms were clean, spacious, and looked after. It’s a great place to stay in Shirdi, just around 300m from Mandir. I took off one star because there was no hand wash in the bathroom. I’d stay again soon.

Please be careful booking this hotel online. I booked a suite a month ahead, but when we arrived on the date of the booking, we found out they’d cancelled it because they had a bulk wedding booking. Management hadn’t even told us about the cancellation. They have no basic ethics in running a hotel.
