Hotel Sai Chhatra

Getting to the Main Temple is easy: it's 500 m away, about a 4 to 5 minute walk along the highway or Road. Autorickshaws are easy to find too, for around 30 or ₹40 to the temple. You're almost in the main market, with other facilities close by. Staff were courteous, soft spoken and quick to help, whether we called reception or the Restaurant; concerns were handled promptly. Room service runs until 11:30 PM. Food is freshly made, good, reasonably priced, and there are plenty of options. There's a lift serving all three floors. Rooms are spacious and well maintained, with working facilities. The interconnected family rooms have a lockable door between them, which was very helpful, and the garden or back-side rooms are quiet and peaceful. It's a 2-Star property, but the service feels like 3-star. I'd suggest trying it for a reasonable budget, great service and a spot near the temple.

We had a lovely stay with the family and got Baba's darshan in the early morning, along with divine blessings. The food at the restaurant below was good too. Thanks, mamata and team. We'll come again when baba calls.

We had a terrible experience. The receptionist, AMAMTA, had no manners when communicating with customers. She wouldn't listen to our room service problems and kept saying “WHATEVER”. I strongly suggest people looking for hospitality and good service avoid this place. There are many better, reasonably priced hotels around Hotel Chhatra. The manager at the next hotel has good manners and offers good customer service and support. NOT TO GO PLACE. MAMTA was not a great manager for this location.

The biggest plus for us was being only a five-minute walk from the temple, which made several visits easy. We also ate at Dwarikamai restaurant downstairs by reception, and the food was good and convenient. The staff were quick to help whenever we called, and polite about it. When our flight was delayed, they arranged a half-day late checkout without any hassle. After we’d checked out and were heading to the airport, I realized I’d lost my ID card. I called, and the team promptly went back to the room to look for it. That was a huge help at a stressful moment. The comfortable room added to a memorable stay. Thank you, Hotel Sai Chattra Team.
