Hotel Tulsi Park

Avoid this hotel. There was no AC, the TV didn't work, and hot water wasn't provided. Room service wasn't available either.

Mosquitoes made the room even more frustrating, and only one charging point worked because the other had burned out. They offered a hand geyser when hot water wasn't available, which wasn't convenient. At Hotel Tulsi Park, the bedsheets and pillows were stained and messy, and the rooms were far from clean. Based on my stay, I'd choose a Dharmashala instead. Big NO from me, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The rooms were very dirty, with no maintenance, and it wasn't a good place to stay with my family. I checked out at 9.45 pm after paying the full amount in cash when I checked in, then checked into another hotel at 10 pm. At Fab Hotel, the manager was very rude. He said, “I told you to book my hotel,” then told me to talk to Fab Hotel, not him. He said it was their hotel and their choice whether to keep it or maintain it. It was a very bad experience.

I paid the 30% advance the property required when I booked, with the rest due at check-in. When I arrived, they said the hotel was full and offered only one room with an extra bed. My choices, they told me, were to take it or cancel for a refund. With it being peak season and nowhere else to go, I accepted the room at the same price, even though it wasn't the type I'd reserved. I’d like fair compensation or a partial refund, and hope they take steps to prevent this from happening to future guests.
