The staff were rude and kept looking for ways to get extra money, and the bathrooms were dirty and unhygienic. There's no electricity backup despite the claim that the hostel has it, so when the power went out, there was none. It's also far from the main temple area. After 6 PM the surroundings felt quiet like a village, and unsafe. You can't refill water outside, even at the nearest BPCL petrol pump, so you have to buy a new bottle each time for Rs. 25.
I booked through OYO and paid online, but the owner refused to let me check in and demanded more money. Since it was midnight, people were apparently paying extra. I refused, and was told to go somewhere else. Don't stay at Jeeva, and don't assume OYO's cheaper options are reliable.
There was no real service, and the place wasn't clean. When I asked for soap, the rude hotel representative told me to get it myself from the counter.
The room wasn't properly cleaned, so don't trust the online photos when booking. The location also didn't feel suitable for a family stay. Worst room.
No service, and I won't visit again. The washroom wasn't clean, and neither were the bedsheet, blankets, or headrest cover.
