The location has a few handy things: there’s a ₹5/- nashta (breakfast) center on the left at the entrance, plus free bus service right there. Inside, you can book rooms offline in the lobby, confirm room allotment with online or offline slips, use free lockers, and get laddu prasadam. There’s a large lobby hall with around 20-30 benches, a small shop for snacks, drinks, dairy products and more, and a tea, coffee, and milk corner serving items from ₹2/- to ₹5/-. Water coolers are near several blocks. The place has four blocks, A-D, with capacity for 500 rooms, plus a big garden with benches and a kids’ play area. Anna prasadam canteen is open 10 am to 10 pm, but I didn’t find the food tasty, the curries were watery. Local hotels serve Punjabi, marati, Gujarati, Andhra and other food. Cabs, autos, tempos, mini vans and more are available for trips to Ahemdabad (₹350/- per person), Nasik (₹250/- to ₹300/-), Shani Singapore (₹300/-), and Nagarsol railway station (₹150/-). In the room, there was plenty of space and the beds were spacious, with nice ventilation. But small cockroaches were all over the room, including the beds and cupboards. The sheets weren’t very clean and the pillows were shallow. Hot water wasn’t consistent even during their stated hours, 4 a.m. to 12 noon. There’s no shower, just a bucket and mug shared between the separate wash room and bathroom. They provide one long mirror, one hanger, a long pipe for drying clothes, and just one power socket.

Om Sai Ram. The free bus seva from Sai ashram bhakta niwas to Shirdi temple runs every half hour. Hot and cold water are available 24x7, and we booked an AC room for two people at Rs. 600 per day. It came with a bed, bedsheet, and covering sheet, but you need to bring soap, toothpaste, drinking water and other essentials. If you need to add a person, go to counter no 5. For an online booking, carry hard copies of the listed documents, such as pan Card and adhar card, as well as the originals. Otherwise you may have to run around, and the apartment allotment process won’t be smooth. Keep in mind, no medical shop in Shirdi will be open at night. For an emergency, you have to go to super Sai hospital near Shirdi bus stand. I’ve visited Shirdi and also plan to visit shani shingnapur and Aurangabad.

A beautiful, peaceful place. The sun looks spectacular here in the morning and again in the evening.

Getting around is easy here. A free shuttle drops visitors near the temple gates and Prasadalaya, and free electric vehicles help physically handicapped and senior citizens travel between the blocks and between the entry and exit gates. The staff are courteous and helpful. Sai Bhakthiniwas is clean, comfortable, and budget friendly, with spacious, well-kept rooms and the basic amenities for a pleasant stay. It’s a good-value option for devotees visiting Shirdi.
