Hotel Hanuman Palace

My train tickets for darshan at Khatu Shyam Mandir stayed waitlisted at No.1 and No.2 and were automatically cancelled. I told the hotel staff right away that I couldn’t travel and asked to cancel my booking. I explained several times that they could give the room to someone else and still earn from it, so I wouldn’t be causing a loss. The owner and staff showed no understanding or professionalism, and I had to keep calling and practically beg them to understand this wasn’t my fault. Even Cleartrip customer care tried talking to them, but they remained stubborn and uncooperative. I asked for at least a 50% refund as a fair compromise, and they refused that too. This was an absolutely horrible experience. My money was wasted for no reason, and I regret booking here. It left me feeling they cared only about taking customers’ money, with no concern for customer satisfaction or genuine emergencies. I’d strongly advise others to avoid this place if they expect basic understanding, support, or ethical behaviour.
