Hotel Gitanjali Inn

I booked an AC room online through Bookings.com for Rs 1200.00 for one night. At check-in, the receptionist refused to give us an AC room, saying there were no rooms at that price and they didn’t know about the online rates. Since it was night and I had no other option, I had to pay Rs 2300 per room. The rooms were shabby, with dirty linen, untreated water that looked like iron tap water, and lots of cockroaches. The stay was horrible. To me, this is an organised SCAM, and I wouldn’t recommend it. Please don’t book unless it’s a super emergency. Final comment: NOT RECOMMENDED. Don’t waste your hard-earned money on this cheap hotel with zero amenities.

We were a group of eight and checked in around 9 pm. They made tasty food to suit our requirements. The accommodation and ambience were good, and the rooms had all amenities. All in all, a very good experience.

The water from the taps was yellow, which felt unhygienic and concerning, and the room looked untidy and far from clean. It seemed like basic cleanliness hadn’t been maintained. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a comfortable or safe stay. It definitely wasn’t worth the money.

We paid ₹5000 for one night for two rooms for people. The rooms were large, the toilets were clean, and the beds were made. There were a few items like sugar and powdered milk. But at night we found a cockroach in our bed, and the toilet shower was broken. One room had no toiletries or other items. Overall, it was neither good nor bad.
