Yashshree Imperial

We stayed here as part of our tour package, and it was a good place for a day. It's a gateway to Bhutan, on the main road, so it's convenient to get around. The airport is about a 30-minute drive outside peak hours. Parking is available, there is a lift, and reception has a good seating area. Our double-sharing room had an extra bed and was spacious, with sofas, two TVs, and toiletries. The washroom was clean and had hot water. Staff were helpful. The restaurant is large. We had manchurian soup, which was good, plus veg mix curry and aloo curry, with chapati, rice, and daal. Non-veg was also available. Jamoon was an okay dessert.

The location was excellent and made getting around very convenient. My stay at Yashshree The Imperial Inn was quite good overall. The room felt comfortable and relaxing, and the staff were attentive and helpful. I had a positive experience.

The staff were polite, the dining was quite good, and the location suited our travel plans. Basic amenities were available, but my stay at Yashshree Imperial in Siliguri was average. The room felt a little tired, with worn furniture, paint, and fittings. The AC was noisy and the bathroom could have been better maintained. For the price, I expected a fresher look. It's a fair option for a short stay if room appearance isn't a big concern, just keep your expectations in check.

There was just one person at reception handling all of this, and the manager wasn't on the property. I called him three times, but he didn't answer or call me back. The service was horrible. I'm vegetarian, yet they sent complimentary non-veg food to my room without an order or even checking what I wanted. They also gave us twin beds despite knowing I was traveling with family. When I asked to change rooms, they simply said they were fully booked and nothing could be done. Please don't visit, the service was pathetic.
