Barefeet Apartments Goa

The quiet surroundings gave us plenty of privacy, and we had no disturbances. Shops and restaurants were easy to reach, as were the main North Goa sights, since the apartment is near the main road to the beaches. The flat itself was a spacious, furnished 3BHK, with well-equipped rooms and furniture. It was clean when we arrived, and the service was good. The caretakers were helpful and gave us advice on places to visit and safety for girls. A great base for visiting North Goa. Best stay.

The host was excellent, and the place was so comfortable that I'll stay here on future Goa trips. Barefeet apartments were clean, spacious, and nicely set up for a rich-feeling stay without costing too much. The location worked well too, with beaches and even booze nearby.

The low price made the stay worthwhile, and the rooms were clean, furnished well, nicely decorated, and had fresh sheets. Siolim isn't near a beach, though, and the roads in and out are single-lane highways. The main problem was the heat: the ACs switched on but didn't cool the rooms, which left it sticky and made it hard to fall asleep. The host didn't help. The damp walls had green fungus in spots and need repainting. Also, despite the flexible checkout mentioned on AirBnB, an angry caretaker made us leave at noon. She said it was our job to tell her when we'd leave, even though our stay had been booked in advance, instead of her checking with us.

It's a good place for two families staying together in Goa. The drawback is that it's far from all the sights, so I'd recommend getting a car as soon as you arrive.
