Even after following up several times, basic requests weren’t handled. Staff from the front desk to support were rude, arrogant, and seemed uninterested in doing their jobs. There was no hospitality or respect, and simple requests were ignored or met with a terrible attitude. This was an extremely disappointing stay and not worth the time or money. I won’t come back and would strongly advise others to avoid it.
We ended up checking out after just one night, even though we’d booked and paid for two days, because the location was so inconvenient. It’s nearly 16 km from proper Kasauli, and the uphill drive there takes around 40-60 minutes. The listed location is misleading, and construction left the area dusty. The room was good, service okay, and food very ordinary, neither bad nor anything special. A very disappointing stay.
The hotel looked beautiful and the rooms were well maintained, but the food was far too expensive. Four pieces of toast cost us $600, which was unbelievable. At checkout they also charged $450 extra. We were busy with the kids and didn’t catch it then, but contacted the property later and no one addressed it. We were really unsatisfied and wouldn’t recommend staying here.
Mr Ravi Kashyap, the hotel manager, was helpful, professional, and very nice. The staff were friendly and professional too. We stayed on Saturday, enjoyed the food, and had a lovely view from the room. Thanks to Royal Ark for a wonderful stay 👍👍👍👍.
The food and the team’s cooperation were highlights, and the ambience was lovely too. We had a fantastic time celebrating my silver jubilee here. Thanks to the whole Royal Ark team for making the day memorable.
