I stayed for a week and had a great time. It cost around 1400 a day, the staff were amazing, and the rooms were great. There's a lovely view outside, and Mall Road is within walking distance. The food is a little costly, so you can eat outside. There's a dhaba at the roundabout with large prantha, a must for breakfast.
The restaurant food was very good, and the staff were helpful. It wasn't crowded, and the location is very close to the mall. The rooms looked shabby, and the TV wasn't working. The manager seemed unconcerned. It was an okay stay, though the rooms could have been much better.
There’s a restaurant and hall in the hotel, with parking for around 4-5 cars. The staff were polite and good, though there’s no room service at night. It’s right on the main road just after Solan Mall Road. The room had an old style, and the view from outside it was ossam, though there’s no separate balcony.
The hill-facing rooms are nice, though not all rooms face the hills, and the food is excellent. It’s a nice budget stay, and you may find decent offers on Goibibo. Double-check with the property before booking online, as some hotels in Solan refuse online bookings during peak season.
My daughter checked in today, and even though the weather was quite chilly, they wouldn't bring a heater when we asked at midnight. They said they don't take the heaters out before December. Some people they are! I'll never book here again or tell anyone else to stay. Cheapsters.
