The reception is on the 4th floor, which was a little unusual, but the lift worked smoothly. Staff were polite, and the facilities were decent for the price. Hot water was available and worked well. I had booked and paid in advance, yet still waited about 10 minutes for my room to be cleaned, which was inconvenient.

They charge more than a good 3-4 star hotel, but the service doesn't even feel like one star. The rooms were stinky and messy, with linens that looked like they'd never been washed. The AC and TV didn't work, and they charge for water bottles. Service requests took at least half an hour. When I reported the TV and AC, they blamed a storm or rain for things getting worse, but in that case they should charge less. Even 1000 rupees would be more than enough. There are no landlines either. The worst hotel experience of my life so far.

The rooms are okay, but a lot falls short. They charge the full room rate even though the AC, TV, and hot water don't work. There were cockroaches in the rooms. Food was okay too. Overall, just an okay hotel.

I haven't stayed at Hotel City Heights, but I've visited 7 Café on the ground floor many times. I think it belongs to the hotel, though I'm not completely sure. It's not crowded or noisy, and the interior is nice. The food and snacks are good and affordable, and they usually bring your order to the table within 8-10 minutes. Staff have always been respectful to us. This place has never disappointed my friends or me. Hope the snacks are good for you too when you visit 😄

The reception lady was very impolite and screamed while guests were standing right there. A normal water bottle costs 30. There was no cleanliness anywhere, from the lifts to the room. The room had a pungent smell, and the washroom wasn't clean. We paid a good amount for a below-average stay, and there were “Margo” soaps in the washroom. Stay away!
