The location in the heart of Kumarhatti is a real plus, and the price is reasonable. It’s a new hotel, with neat, clean rooms, though they’re not very large. The view around the place is lovely, and hot water is available all the time. Power stayed on even in the rain. The facilities in the rooms could be better: there’s no safe, no glass or complimentary tea and coffee, and the TV connection is poor. There seems to be only one caretaker for guests, so staffing is thin. There’s plenty of room for improvement.

The rooms are clean and hygienic, and the views from them are fantastic. The owner and staff were warm and friendly. It’s close to NH22, on the Shimla-Chandigarh highway, and would be a lovely place for a weekend with friends or family.

We arrived to find the owner demanding more than the amount we’d agreed on, despite my father booking ten days ahead and calling three, two, and one day before our trip. He told us to pay extra or leave. My senior citizen parents and I had to leave and find another place. The owner has done this twice: once with an OYO booking, which he rejected outright before settling on a different amount. I consider the place a cheat, and wouldn’t recommend it to families. In my view, the management uses booking amounts to pressure tourists for more money. I want the government authorities to cancel this place’s license. The management is corrupt and greedy, and this is the worst place of all.

Some people leave bad comments without even staying here. Come and see the hotel for yourself, and judge its charm and the truth about the views. The hotel is very good. Thanks.
