Clarks Collection Somnath

We were delighted by the value and had a peaceful, convenient stay. The hotel has plenty of parking, and it’s right off the highway, about 1.5 km from Shri Somnath Jyotirling temple. At check-in, the reception welcomed us warmly with a refreshing drink. Staff unloaded our bags promptly and brought them to the room with care. The room was spacious, clean, and had the essentials; room service was prompt and attentive. In the morning, they made ginger tea just the way we like it. We asked the restaurant for simple, home-style food with little oil and spice, and the kitchen got it right. Breakfast aloo paratha was especially tasty, hearty, and satisfying.

The restaurant was good, and breakfast had limited choices but was still satisfactory. Our room was clean, and service was quick. The staff always had a smile. A great stay and good value for money.

The food was the best part for us. Everything we ordered was tasty and well prepared, and the dishes were good for kids too. We stayed one night with family. The location is good and having parking in Somnath was handy. Rooms were large and comfortable, though the lighting was awkward since one switch controlled several lights, so it was hard to set them how we wanted. The washroom needed better upkeep. Staff were unfriendly, especially at check-in, and nobody helped with our luggage when we arrived. At checkout, someone offered help mainly as if expecting a tip. The receptionist also didn’t clearly explain whether breakfast was included or what time it was. The rooms and food are good, but guest service, washroom maintenance, and basic communication need work.
