Laxmi Sadan is a peaceful, conveniently located place for a pilgrimage stay, and I found it worth the price. The rooms were clean, the facilities decent for the cost, and the staff cooperative and helpful. It worked well for families, Somnath pilgrims, and groups of friends, so I'd recommend it.

Being close to the temple is the one thing Laxmi Sadan has going for it. Apart from that, my stay was uncomfortable and seriously disappointing. The surroundings were busy, noisy, chaotic, and smelled bad, with disturbances throughout. Loud music went on until around midnight, so it was hard to rest. The room was very small, with little comfort or facilities, and didn't feel like a proper hotel stay. Hygiene was poor too. There was no dustbin, the bedsheets smelled, and the room felt unhygienic enough that I was uncomfortable even sitting on the bed. The bathroom was extremely tiny and difficult to move around in, and there was no hot water. The staff and management came across as rude and unprofessional. There didn't seem to be a proper system or much hospitality, and guests weren't made to feel welcome. The place needs better cleanliness, management, basic facilities, and surroundings. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless the location is your only priority and you're willing to give up a lot of comfort, cleanliness, and peace.
We booked through ibibo under the name Laxmi Sadan, but the place we found was very different from what the listing advertised. The property is also known as "Abdul Sadan", a name that wasn't disclosed in the listing. The surroundings were very dirty, and the hotel felt cramped and poorly maintained, making it unsuitable for families and pilgrims visiting Somnath for tīrtha yātrā. Getting luggage upstairs was difficult because most rooms are on upper floors and there is no lift. Staff didn't help. There was no dustbin in the room, the bedding was dusty and unhygienic, the toilet was dirty, and we had no hot water. Parking and unloading were also a problem. There's no space on the road to park, and even a brief stop isn't allowed, so unloading from the car was frustrating, especially with family or elderly pilgrims. Staff were neither polite nor helpful. The hotel fell short on cleanliness, transparency, access, and basic hospitality. Families and pilgrims should avoid it and find a more dignified, hygienic place to stay.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the temple is within walking distance. It was a great experience overall, though the place could use a few upgrades. If you're looking to stay near the mandir, this is a place to consider. Must visit.
The location is good, but the rooms aren't clean enough. Running hot water also isn't available after 8 a.m.
