Dinner ordered to the room was fantastic, and the atmosphere was relaxed. The rooms were clean and well maintained, the staff helpful, and the prices very affordable. We were on the first floor, though, and a tree in the front lawn blocked the mountain view from our balcony, which was a little annoying. There are trees and nature all around anyway, so I’d suggest taking that one away. I recommend the place, but if balcony views matter to you, avoid room 106 on the first floor.

We had a wonderful family stay at this amazing resort. Manager Mr Dilip was especially helpful and very polite. Please visit Kacholam, it’ll be a great experience.

We stayed 3 days. The rooms were nice and the food was good, but the mornings were frustrating. The kitchen only opens at 7.30 am, and tea ordered then arrived at 8 am. When I called in between to remind them, the manager, who handles the kitchen number, got angry and responded poorly. There’s also construction at the property, starting at 7 am every morning and disturbing the morning peace. If you like having tea or coffee in the foggy mornings, think carefully before booking.

The rooms are neat, well kept, and look good, and the open areas inside the property make it attractive. The owner and staff are cooperative. The main drawback is the location, about 8/9Km from central Munnar, with no other restaurant or market nearby.

The owner was very courteous and welcoming, which made the stay comfortable and memorable. The villa’s peaceful, private surroundings create a romantic atmosphere, making it a great fit for couples looking to relax.
