Mountain Trail Resort

We had crispy veg through room service, even though it wasn't on the menu. Instead of turning us down, the staff asked how we'd like it made, and it became the best crispy veg starter I've had. The team was young, energetic, and made us comfortable the whole time. Check-in and checkout were both smooth, and we had no issues during our stay. We visited in October when it was moderately busy. Our room was cozy and had an indoor football game, and extra beds were available on request. I'd definitely stay here again when I'm in Munnar, Kerela.

Breakfast and dinner were included in the room rate, and the food was marvellous, made with fresh ingredients. It's worth ordering from your room before heading to the restaurant, since preparation takes a while. The place is family friendly and has amazing views. It's a bit away from the city, which suited us because it was quieter. We stayed two nights and will definitely come back.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the view made the trip to the resort worthwhile. The team welcomed us with heartfelt hospitality and even went out of their way to arrange a little party for my mother when she turned 75. The approach road can spoil things at times, and there were some early issues with the intercom, which I'm sure the unit head will work on. A very good team and stay.

We stayed in a cozy, comfortable suite at Mountain Trail Resort, in a calm spot away from the crowds. It's up in the hills, so the balcony gives you a great view. The staff were polite and humble, and the food was tasty. Chicken Venadu is worth trying, and Kerela Rice with Dal fry made a superb combo. There are indoor adventure activities too, though we only played TT. The amenities were good, and it felt like a great place for couples or families to relax and recharge. 😊
