Athena Homestay

The lake in front of the Athena homestay is a real highlight. The owner responded well, and you can order your own recipe to enjoy amid Coorg's nature.

My first homestay, and I loved it! The house is surrounded by greenery and coffee plantations, and it's convenient for visiting different tourist spots. The rooms were lovely, but the home-cooked food was my favorite part. I got to try authentic South Indian cuisine and had amazing coffee. The owners were polite and humble, and took great care of us. It was a different kind of stay for me, and a wonderful experience 😇😄

Mr. Sagar and his family took great care of us and were helpful with every request. The rooms were very clean and well maintained, and the food was local, delicious, and had good variety at both breakfast and dinner. It's a peaceful, serene homestay in an isolated spot with plenty of greenery. I'd love to stay here again on my next visit.

We had a great time here, and my 7-year-old and 5-year-old loved their stay. They made a lifetime memory. The hosts were friendly and responsible, the bathrooms were well maintained, and the pond view, morning and evening walks, and campfire were lovely. The rooms could be a bit dusty, but being away from noisy cities made the place worth it. One catch is that there's no mobile network except BSNL. The hosts let us use their personal phones for communication. Thank you, Mr. Jnanesh, Mr. Ramappa Garu, and Mr. Sagar, for a wonderful homestay.
