The property is large and in a good location. We enjoyed the nature walk, horse riding, and shooting, and the golf experience was decent. Breakfast was good too. The rest of our stay fell far short of what we expected from a 5 star resort. Our villa cost 25K/night with Breakfast and Dinner, but the service was horrible, and the dining staff seemed new and unsure how to serve. We got there at 3 p.m and still waited 30 minutes because the villa wasn't ready. Extra bedding requested in the afternoon arrived only at night, despite several reminders. The swimming pool bathroom was wet and stinky. There was no Wi-Fi in the dining area, and with no network it was very hard to reach anyone there. Dinner was very bad, nowhere near a 5 star buffet. There was no live counter or beverage, not even simple buttermilk, and we found a dead mosquito in the papad. Both starters tasted similar and average, with no variety. A simple roti took more than 30 minutes, and even cutlery took too long to arrive. When we asked for ice, they just gave us an ice packet. The villa was large and could easily fit four adults, but there was no AC in the living room with the sofa cum bed, making it very difficult to stay there. At the club house the TT rackets and Archary board were broken, and Dart arrows were missing.

The food and the care from the dining team made our stay especially memorable. Head Chef Mathivannan and steward Vivek, along with their team, treated us like family. Meals were delicious and thoughtfully served, with a great breakfast spread to start each day. The whole team was warm and welcoming. Montrose Golf Resort & Spa sits among lush greenery, with calm surroundings and scenic views that made it easy to unwind away from city life. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. My kids say it's one of the best places they've ever visited. Montrose Golf Resort & Spa gave us comfort, heartfelt hospitality, and a lovely experience. We'd love to return.

The villa was spacious and exotic, and we enjoyed the outdoor activities, from shooting and archery to the coffee taste and tour, horse riding, and golf experience. The staff were friendly and polite. There's so much good to say that I can't fit it all here. Everything felt perfect, and it was the right place for a perfect vacation. A must visit resort.

The restaurant service was especially exemplary, and the Executive Chef was attentive to individual customers and kept an eye on everything. The service overall was great. There's always room to improve, but we're happy with how things are now. Our stay was nice, apart from the network connectivity, which was not available at all in room no 115. Thanks to the management.

The food was excellent, and we ate most of our meals in the hotel restaurant. Mr. Jaiom Dubey and Mr. Geet Gupte made our stay comfortable and the restaurant experience pleasant. They were courteous and handled all our requests with a smile. Montrose Resort, coorg has a fantastic location, and the hotel's architecture left us mesmerized as soon as we entered the property. We definitely recommend it for a stay at coorg.
