Aquila Boutique Resort Agonda

We felt at home thanks to Sam, who was so hospitable, made sure we were comfortable, and shared a few local tips. His warm, helpful nature really added to our stay at Aquila Boutique Resort in Agonda. The beach-facing rooms were clean and reasonably priced, with a cozy, authentic Goan feel. The property is right on the beach, a lovely setting for a peaceful, scenic break.

We had some delicious lunches and dinners, especially the fresh, tasty fish. The bar and restaurant are right on the beach, and we loved sipping cocktails while lounging on the sunbeds. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Big thanks to Jordan and Sam, who were absolutely fantastic. We'll be back!

Sam, Jordan, and the rest of the team manage the place really well and are always available if guests need help. Our room was fine for the price, nothing fancy, but we didn't have any real complaints about it. The best thing is the location at Agonda beach, right on the sand. The restaurant opens straight onto the beach, and it's only about 20-50 steps from the room. Aquilla suits anyone who'd rather stay in a beach shack than a five-star hotel in Goa. We had a breakfast-included package. There's no buffet, but the choices were enough. The Indian thalis at main meals weren't that great, and we found better options elsewhere. The seafood risotto was superb, though, as was the pizza. The fresh fish preparations and Aquilla special cocktail are also must tries.

I first came by just to relax on the sunbeds, and somehow this turned into my second home. It's my absolute favourite spot in Agonda, the best place ever. You can stay, eat, have fun, or just hang around by the Ocean. If you're nearby, you really should go. Ask for Sam, he's the best! And say Tanvi, aka Yoga Teacher, sent you, haha.
