Caravela Beach Resort (Ex. Ramada Caravela B.R)

The beach, green lawns, and coconut trees made this a lovely place for a family visit. The property is huge, well kept, and has a clean white-sand private beach, with plenty of space for walks and photos. There’s a separate kids’ pool, but no swimming tubes for children, so we had to buy one. For a resort in this category, they should have these basic items available. There are lots of restaurants, though I’d like to see a dedicated pure vegetarian option. Bicycle hire at around ₹250 an hour felt expensive for a premium resort. Our room wasn’t cleaned properly in some areas, and there were many mosquitoes. When I told reception, they only gave us an All Out machine and said they couldn’t do anything else. That response was disappointing. The place and atmosphere work well for families and children, but the cleanliness, response from staff, and a few facilities need to match the price better.

The private beach access was the best part of our stay. The hotel has lovely grounds, a beautiful design, a great pool, and courteous staff. Rooms were good, though not quite five-star, and check-in was delayed while they made sure they were ready, even though we arrived at 4 pm. Getting around was hard for someone with mobility issues. There is a service elevator, but you have to ask someone to escort you to it through the kitchen. I gave up and struggled up and down the stairs to the restaurant and breakfast area. The food was average to good, but my dinner dumplings were very doughy. Service was inefficient too, with half the group’s order arriving more than 15 minutes before the rest, and chopped onions and cucumber showing up halfway through the meal. Some staff training could help. Music played loudly into the night, until 10:30 pm.

My 3.5-year-old daughter is still talking about Fidol from the activity center. Fidol looked after her with so much patience and affection, and I’m truly grateful. Rahul, the manager, was always kind and greeted us with a big, warm smile. Housekeeping staff Amy, Sanya, Merek, and Kumar were friendly, efficient, and kept the hotel spotless. The property is beautiful and spacious, and the food was excellent. Every dish was delicious. Chefs Ram Chandra, Vijendra, Satya Narayan, and Executive Chef Jesu Raj were interactive and gave guests personal attention, checking that we were comfortable with our stay and meals. I’m in awe of the hospitality and will definitely come back. Please keep this wonderful staff at Caravella. 💛✨

The food and restaurant team were wonderful. Executive Chef Jesuraj and Vijender, Satya Narayan, and Sanjeet Ladad were cooperative, courteous, and always welcoming with warm smiles. Once they found out we were from Brotomotive, they took extra care of us and even marked the occasion with a small cake. Such a thoughtful gesture made the stay memorable, and their hospitality felt heartfelt. We’d give them 10/8 stars. Caravela Beach Resort at Varca Beach has a beautiful private stretch of clean beach for walks and sunsets, plus spacious grounds with lush gardens, pools, a golf course, and room to relax. The staff are warm and friendly, and restaurant and common-area service usually gets high marks. Breakfast is varied and tasty, and the onsite restaurants offer Indian and international food. Great for families and couples.
