Casanova by the Sea

We’d gone a long time without having a meal this good in Goa. The prawns were a standout, and the curry had fantastic flavor. Everything was really good and affordable, too. Dinesh was especially kind and humble, and he looked after us so well. My friends noticed his great service as well and said they’d recommend the place. We left feeling very well fed.

The rooms are basic and a little worn, and the fresh towels smelled damp, which was a shame. Still, the beds were large and firm, there was a fridge and free Wi-Fi, and the beach is under 50 meters away. We chose Casa Nova by the sea again because the price suited us perfectly. Breakfast was included and good, and meals in the restaurant were fantastic at any time of day. The staff were really helpful. We’ll definitely return and would recommend it.

The place had a lovely mood, and the music fit it perfectly. I stopped in for lunch after seeing how amazing the restaurant looked from outside. Ankit, one of the staff, sang along to the songs and was a very good singer. If you eat meat, you have to order the Afghani Chicken. Amazing people and a great vibe.

I kept coming back for their Thali, at least five times. The food is some of the best quality in Palolem, and Anky and Vikesh were especially welcoming and friendly. There’s also a lovely air conditioned restaurant downstairs, a nice break from the heat. Definitely worth visiting.
