Club Mahindra Varca Beach, Goa

We had a great family holiday at Club Mahindra Varca Beach Resort, South Goa. The two pools were clean, spacious, and well kept, and there were plenty of indoor and outdoor games for all ages. The resort has direct access to a private beach, which made it especially relaxing. Its two restaurants had good food options, and festive events and activities kept things lively during the stay. The rooms were luxurious, spacious, and comfortable, and service was fast and professional. With the beautiful ambience and excellent hospitality, it was a wonderful place for a relaxing Goa holiday. Highly recommended.

The buffet dinner at Tamara Restaurant was a real disappointment, and the F&B could be much better. The pools, though, were excellent and kept quite clean. The resort is wonderfully located with direct access to Varca Beach, and the rooms are well organized. We used a Hotel Unit and a Studio. The Studio was great and recently renovated, while the HU could have been much better. Service felt a little dowdy, with people looking tired and not very excited about their work at such a great facility. Relationship Manager Abhay Soni was the saving grace for an otherwise lacklustre service team.

The rooms were excellent, and we were impressed by the food options, so the stay was comfortable and enjoyable. At check-in, the staff helped us when we realized we’d forgotten the hard copies of our children’s OCI cards. Since they have foreign passports, staff accepted soft copies. That was helpful, though emailing sensitive documents felt risky given data-privacy concerns. A secure upload portal for required documents in advance would make this more convenient and better protect guest information. One other improvement would be overhead lights in the play zone. The halogen lights only brighten one side, and more even lighting would make the area safer and more usable for kids in the evening. Overall, a good experience with a few thoughtful improvements possible.

We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days at Club Mahindra Varca, and the property was well maintained, the recently renovated rooms were comfortable, and the service was excellent. The food was generally very good with a nice variety. Some snacks we tried at one restaurant fell short of expectations, but Chef Amar took our feedback graciously and went out of his way to make sure the rest of our meals were pleasant and satisfying. His proactive response really added to the stay. We had a delightful visit and look forward to coming back.
