Cola Beach Exclusive Tented Resort

The location gets 9/10, but the room was 0/10, service 1/10, and room hygiene and maintenance 0/10. We booked two nights at ₹15k per night including taxes, but left after the first because it was so bad. There wasn’t a refundable booking option. The beach was very clean, the views from the room were lovely, and the sunset from the resort was fantastic. It was peaceful and private, and you can book just one night if that’s what you’re after. The staff were decent, but couldn’t do much about the problems. The room itself was horrible. The AC took ages to cool things down, the jacuzzi took almost two hours to fill, and we had to ask staff for help every time we tried to open the badly secured door. There was no mobile signal even 20 minutes from the resort, so we had to rely on the hotel Wi-Fi. The bathroom was very dirty and the room hadn’t been maintained. We found ants, spiders, and a small lizard. The food was below average, and it took 1 to 1.5 hours to arrive after ordering. I wouldn’t recommend staying here for this price. It was truly a hassle.

There were a lot of difficulties during our stay, even though the property may have an attractive view. The rooms weren’t properly maintained, and at one point they flooded because the drainage wasn’t adequate. Getting there was a nightmare. The road to the property was badly damaged, with a ditch along one side, and the whole route was dark and unlit. The 15-minute ride felt unsafe, especially coming back around 8 PM. There was no alternative route, and nobody warned us about the road beforehand. Food, drinks, and other outside orders cost nearly twice the usual market rates. Activa and bike rentals were inflated too. There were no cabs or rickshaws readily available nearby, so we had to rely on the manager’s contacts. One 15-minute ride cost around ₹1,200. Mobile coverage was practically nonexistent, leaving us dependent on Wi-Fi and making even basic calls difficult. The room rate might be discounted, but it felt like almost 4x was made back through overpriced room service and other charges. When we raised it with the manager, the answer was, “yaha rate aise hi lagate he”.

The views were amazing, and the rooms felt incredibly luxurious. What stood out most was how much effort the staff put into making us comfortable. Having a quiet, isolated beach nearby made it feel very private. A real hidden gem, highly recommend!

The resort in Cola, Goa was peaceful and scenic, a lovely place to unwind. What made the stay memorable was how thoughtful and attentive the service was from the moment we arrived. Jayesh, Thakur, Jasveer Singh, and Siya deserve a special mention. They were always available with a smile, took care of every detail, and helped quickly when needed. Their recommendations were thoughtful, and they made us feel at home. Highly recommend this place for a serene getaway with great service. We’ll definitely come back!
