Colva Plaza by OYO

The hosts made the biggest difference. They were warm, kind, and attentive, always available when needed without getting in the way. It felt like being welcomed into someone's home. Our room was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged, so it was easy to relax. We loved the food too, fresh, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. We left grateful and already looking forward to returning. A lovely mix of comfort, food, and heartfelt hospitality, and we'd happily recommend it.

The chicken lollipop was especially delicious, and the fries, salted peanuts, and chilled beers went well with it. We stopped at Colva Plaza for dinner and loved the vibe. Service was prompt and good. It's a nice place to relax with friends over drinks and a quick, easy evening meal. Worth a stop if you're around Colva.

The meal ends beautifully with Bebinca, layered and rich with nutmeg, and you can tell how much patience goes into making it. Earlier, the Goan Prawn Curry is creamy and golden, with coconut milk and the tart edge of dried mango or kokum. I like it over steaming unpolished red rice, or with crusty Poee to mop it up. For seafood, the Kingfish Recheado is the standout: pan-seared fish with a deep red, fiery spice paste that also has a little sweetness. The whole spread feels tied to the coast, palm groves, and a culture that makes a celebration of eating.

There's plenty of seafood to choose from, and the dishes we tried were fresh and tasty. The indoor and outdoor seating both have a lovely feel, and there's a pool table too, so it works well for hanging out with friends or family. Near Colva Beach, Hotel Colva Plaza is an easy stop for Goan food. They're open all day, with fish thali at lunch and dinner, including masala fish. The flavours tasted properly authentic to us.
