Colva Residency

I booked two nights through Goibibo after looking at the Google map pictures, but the room was in poor condition. It smelled pungent, the doors were badly worn, the bed wasn’t good, and the cupboards were full of worms and mosquitoes and didn’t close properly. The AC didn’t work properly, and neither did the washing machine, although the bathroom maintenance was good. The utensils were poor quality and looked heavily used. The building looked new and landscaped on the map, but it’s actually very old, with no garden. The approach for vehicles is uneven, full of stones and mud, and the reception wasn’t maintained well.

The 1 BHK apartment near colva beach was good, but during my five-day stay the room was cleaned only once. There was no drinking water, security, or cctv. I was hoping to give four or five stars, but the caretaker needs to learn how to speak to guests.

There was no swimming pool, despite it appearing in the Google map search details. The water wasn’t warm, Wi-Fi had no internet access, and the AC didn’t cool well.

The owner is supportive, and the place is lovely and reasonably priced. A few small updates are needed, like fixing the fan and sorting out the knife.
