Credo Jungle Resort - Agonda

Butterflies, colorful flowers, and a quiet jungle setting make Bob's bungalow park feel like a real break from city life. There are snakes, spiders, and huge ants, though you're entirely safe. If you stick to the safety measures the on-site employees explain thoroughly, it could be a unique experience of a lifetime. Are you ready for the jungle's call? Bob and his helpers were there to answer questions and help out. I felt welcome and was treated like a friend. The beach and local shops are about a 15-minute walk away, while the nearest town is a 10-minute drive by bus, rickshaw, or scooter. Relax and enjoy, I warmly recommend staying here.

Bob went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and welcome, and he’s the best cook in all of Agonda. The cottages are roomy and clean, and you can see the care put into making the resort feel homely, almost like a little village. We stayed at Credo for a week, and it felt like coming home. It was the best homestay of our whole trip. We’ll definitely return to see how Credo grows. 100% recommend. :-)

The idea behind the place is lovely, especially if you enjoy being close to nature. It’s near some of Goa’s most scenic, peaceful beaches. Bob and Tatiana were great hosts and made us feel at home. I’ll definitely recommend it to people.

Credo is a quiet, simple place, and that calm felt like a tonic for the soul. We were welcomed as friends right away and soon felt at home. The village of Agonda is a lovely 10-minute walk away. There’s enough on hand for a comfortable stay, but the rustic, natural setup won’t suit everyone. If you prefer beach resorts with cocktail umbrellas and full service, Credo probably isn’t your kind of place. Agonda has plenty of generic, well-equipped cottages along the beach. Our hut had a large comfortable bed, a ceiling fan, a bathroom, a small private terrace, and plenty of space around the three huts on site. There was no hot water, which we neither wanted nor expected. Camping is also available a little further down. Guests can use the kitchen, so self-catering is possible, something the beach resorts don’t seem to offer. There’s no set menu, but ever-smiling Ahmed will cook simple, delicious food on request.
