Cuba Patnem

The sound of the sea was lovely with a hookah in the chilly winter breeze. The hookah was good, and the fresh masala prawns are a must try. For a family of three, the food bill was around 4k to 7k for two days. Those are some of my best memories of 2025. We loved our two-day stay at Cuba, Patnem beach. It’s right by the beach, with direct access, and the stay was cool, quiet, and comfy. The hospitality, service, and food were all great. I’d visit again if I get the chance.

The owners and staff were polite and humble, and the restaurant had a nice ambience with good food options. Our hut was built beautifully with wood, and had clean, dust-free, air-conditioned rooms with enough bed space. It’s easy to get to the beach from here, and walking or swimming there was easier since it’s scenic and not very crowded. We stayed with our 11-month-old baby. I’d recommend contacting the stay for reliable self-drive rental cars instead of using online self-drive car services.

The staff were polite, attentive, and flexible, even when we asked for child-friendly meals. The in-house restaurant served delicious, well-prepared food, though it was a little expensive. Parking was tight but manageable. We had a pleasant four-night stay at The Cube Patnem, right next to Patnem Beach. There are sea-facing, partially sea-facing, and garden-view rooms. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a wooden hut design, but the floors creak and some furniture needs maintenance. There are no TVs, which fits the peaceful natural feel. The 24-hour water, hot water, and electricity were reliable. My ratings: room 3.5/5, food 5/5, staff 5/5, property 4/5.

Right on the beach, with a great ambience and well-kept rooms. The bathroom fittings could be better maintained, and the water flow could be stronger.
