We were just a few minutes from Colva Beach, with restaurants and local shops close by, yet the location felt peaceful. At Hotel Silva Rosa, our spacious rooms were very clean and well maintained. The courteous staff were always ready to help with anything we needed. We had a pleasant stay, and it's a great option for a visit to Colva.

Everything seemed good, but we didn't know we were supposed to count the water glasses before entering the room. One was missing at checkout, and we had to pay for it. Be careful.

The area under the bed was filthy with dirt and dust, as if the cleaner had forgotten it. The hotel is extremely dirty and poorly managed, and needs to look at how to improve general cleanliness. The staff were terrible, especially the indifferent front desk guys.

The location is good, and the rooms are clean and spacious. The only problem is there's no pantry or restaurant. At the prices they charge, they should at least provide high tea and breakfast.

Make sure you check the glasses before leaving. The staff say glasses go missing during cleaning, and you may find two at checkout instead of the original three.
