Jasminn Hotel, Goa

This time I got to experience Goa in the rain for the first time. I was a little unsure about the weather at first, but I took to it like a fish to water and enjoyed the rain just as much as the sunshine I usually love here. It’s changed my mind about coming only in October or November. With an open mind, any time of year can be right for Goa. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been to Jasmin. My family calls it my second home, and we’ve been coming regularly since 2018. It’s never let us down. The place, staff, food, and whole experience always leave me wanting more. I planned five days this time and, as usual, extended the stay, by another three days. Tanmoy, the GM, personally looks after guests’ welfare while keeping the property running impeccably. That’s a real added touch. Edison, Raj, Samson, the kitchen team, Anil and his housekeeping crew, Gaus, Beverly, the reception staff, Rupendar, and all the security staff deserve a special mention for making another stay memorable. Their greetings always bring a smile. Kudos, everyone, keep up the great work. I’m looking forward to another visit soon.

The location and building were the only good parts of the stay. The bathroom exhaust wasn’t working, and nobody came to check it even after I complained. Room cleaning was awful too, they didn’t even wash the used cups. The food tasted horrible, and the manager never asked what the problems were, even after the receptionist told them I was complaining.
