The food is good, and I have no complaint about it. But every time I come to eat, the service guy with long hair takes my order once, says yes when I try to follow up, and then never brings it. This has happened on each of the 10 to 15 visits I've made, so I want to know why this keeps happening. Someone needs to ask him and improve the service. I'll come back one more time to see if it's better. If I'm satisfied, I'll keep coming; otherwise I won't return.
There isn't a restaurant within 1-2 km of this hotel, which is far from town, and the hotel's own restaurant is priced so high that hardly anyone can afford it. My room fan didn't work, and they didn't even consider fixing it, so the stay was below average. Nearby, there's a bike rental place called “Glomar General Store taxi and bike hire.” I found it a huge scam: Vency Furtado charges more than ₹1000 a day in south goa for a scrap scooter. In North Goa near Baga I got new Fascino bikes for ₹400 a day, and many people in North goa charge under ₹500. Beware.
The chicken fried rice was sticky and had a foul smell. The half lollipop was overcooked and tasted slightly burnt. Both items weren't ready at the promised pickup time. When I pointed out the food quality, they explained it as though I was the one who was wrong.
The hotel was easy to reach from the city and well located. I had a wonderful stay, with excellent service from staff who were friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended!
The room showed a 75% discount and the cheapest price when I booked it. On the day I was meant to check in, I called to confirm and was told the hotel doesn't use that app or site. Why are they linked to it, then? People book, and only at the end are told this.
