Alegro guesthouse is in the heart of Palolem, just 200 meters from the beach, and Gul’s guesthouse is a real gem. The rooms are spacious, fresh, and have everything you might need, including a large fridge that cools well. Gul was kind, attentive, and always there to help from the moment I arrived. His warmth made me feel welcome. Food around Palolem can be a bit pricey. For more affordable options, I’d suggest Laxmi Family Restaurant, about a 30-minute walk away, for lunch or dinner, and Mallikarjun Hotel Udupi for a vegetarian breakfast. If I return to Palolem, I’ll definitely stay at Alegro again. Thanks, Gul, for a wonderful stay!

I spent 10 days here and really enjoyed it. The garden is a peaceful, comfortable spot to relax, and the rooms are clean and comfortable too. The manager is kind and always willing to help. The internet signal wasn’t very strong in some rooms, though I could still work remotely without major problems. I was satisfied overall and would happily come back.

The receptionist was very rude and couldn’t resolve problems guests ran into, just kept trying to prove you wrong. Bad and unprofessional service. There are much better hotels near palolem beach at this price.

A neat, clean room and a family-friendly stay, very close to Palolem beach with lots of restaurants nearby. Ms.Gul was especially nice and helpful.
