Longuinhos Beach Resort

The beachside location is great, and we liked the restaurant and cafe. What really bothered me was how the resort staff stood by while a rental dispute played out on their property. Our group was staying there, the staff knew what was happening, and nobody tried to help. I’ve never seen such insensitive behavior from a hotel or resort. We’d rented two cars for three days. One stopped working after an hour, then the rental guy came to the resort and argued with us. He refused to provide a replacement and kept the payment for all three days, along with the security for both cars. We’d heard about taxi mafia and rental scams in Goa, but thought only a small number of unlucky people got caught up in them. Then it happened to us. The rental guys were trying to extort money, and the resort did nothing.

The rooms have beach views, which was nice, and you can walk to markets. The place is on the beach, though it isn’t the actual Colva Beach, which is about a kilometre away by road and quite crowded. Around the property, fish and prawns are often left to dry, so there’s a fishy smell much of the time. I stayed in the Arabian Sea View luxury room. It felt small for the price, especially given the other amenities, and there’s no internet connection in the rooms, which surprised me. It looks decent from outside, but I’d only go for it at around 3k. At a higher price, I’d pass.

The beach right outside made the stay feel especially relaxing. Our room was kept clean and in good shape, and room service and the other services were excellent. We had a great time here. Big thanks to Kaif, Felcy, Shubert, and Seby for taking such professional, caring attention of us.

We had a memorable two-day stay at Longuinhos Beach Resort, with lovely food and plenty of variety. The beach access straight from our room made it feel extra special. Schubert, Gaspar, Kaif, and Seby were warm, attentive, and professional throughout. It was a relaxing, delightful visit, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.
