Moonlight Resorts Agonda

We were a couple staying for two nights in December 2025, and it was the worst stay we've ever had. We checked in around 1 pm. By 7 or 8 that evening, there was no water in the bathroom. Staff switched on a motor and water came from the tap. When I asked if there'd be hot water, a staff member said the geyser wasn't working. The owner later told me the resort didn't have a geyser at all. We got up at 5 am the next morning to leave early, but none of the taps had water. There was no water to bathe or use the toilet, and there was no toilet paper either. Nobody was there to help guests before 8 am. We used our drinking water to use the toilet, couldn't bathe, and left for our planned trip at 6:15 am. I told the owner what had happened, but she wasn't supportive and didn't know how to speak to a customer. She accused me of making up stories and said she'd check the CCTV for that morning. I told her to go ahead because I was telling the truth. Instead of refunding us for the service failures, she blamed us for her own faults. There was no attendant at the front desk around the clock as Agoda said there would be. There was no daily housekeeping or room service. We found two small cockroaches and one large one in the room, and it smelled bad all day. The bathroom drain strainer was broken and left open, which made us worry that dangerous insects could come up from the sewer and get into the room. The first lock was so flimsy that even a small child could pull it off and break it. After we complained, they replaced it with another lock of the same type, just slightly bigger. The resort has many similar bad reviews on Google and other booking sites, including AGODA. Other customers have described the same awful experience, so I'm not making this up.
