O3 Beach Resort

The view was the best part of my short stay at this beachside place. We ate here a couple of times and liked the food.

The cottages were really smelly, the sheets were dirty and smelled, and the mattress was too old and uncomfortable. The AC barely worked, and there was no fridge or intercom in the room. Breakfast had very few choices and the food was average. They didn't play music in the restaurant, and when we tried to order, two or three waiters suddenly gathered around us. The whole staff experience was bakwaas. I'd choose the place next door or somewhere else if you want a good stay. You'll regret staying here.

The sea-facing cottage was the main draw, with a beautiful view and easy access to the beach. We were happy to get the cottage we had booked, but the rest of the stay didn't justify the price. The old mattress was hard and had lost its cushioning, and the complimentary breakfast was limited in both amount and choice. Inside, there was no kettle, TV, or hairdryer, and we had no hot water for bathing. Housekeeping needs a lot of work: spider webs were visible in several spots, the bathroom was in poor shape, and water drained so slowly that we had to wait before another person could bathe. With no raised threshold, bathroom water could also run into the bedroom. There were cockroaches too. We stayed just one night, spent most of it outside, and didn't complain, but this shouldn't be happening at a resort. Unless the facilities and cleanliness improve, I wouldn't stay again.

The staff were calm, courteous, and very helpful. They even arranged an early check-in without charging extra, which we really appreciated. Our room was clean and well kept, and room service was quick. The on-site restaurant served tasty food, though the prices felt a little high. We stayed here with friends on Palolem Beach, and being right on the shore meant great views and easy beach access. Waking up to the waves was a highlight. It's a fantastic spot for a peaceful beachfront break, especially with that level of service.
