We spent three weeks at Martin’s Comfort, from late January to mid-February. The plants, trees, and shrubs throughout the hotel are beautiful and very well cared for. Breakfast was also very good, with a buffet of toast, butter, jam, chicken sausages, idli, bhaji, rolls, fruit, and juice, plus eggs and puri cooked to order. Our first impressions were mixed because the pool had a very green algae bloom and couldn’t be used. Staff sorted it out over the next few days, and it was lovely to have it open again. It’s not a huge pool, but it was quiet and large enough to swim lengths, around 10 m x 4 m. The room itself was great: very clean, with a lovely, comfortable extra-wide double bed, a generous bathroom, balcony, good furniture, and plenty of storage. Martin’s Corner restaurant is opposite and gets busy, with regular live music. We weren’t disturbed, but you can hear it in the background until about 10:30-11:00 at night. Highly recommended, and it really can be called a boutique hotel. We look forward to returning.

Martin's Comfort is in a quiet, peaceful area. The rooms are pretty good, with balconies and amenities that are good enough. There are plenty of choices at the complimentary breakfast too. It was a great experience overall.

I booked Martin's Comfort for one of my guests, who gave it a pretty decent review. The rooms were decent, though they could be better, and the breakfast seemed reasonable. There’s ample guest parking and the staff are courteous. It’s a quiet, peaceful spot next to the famous Martin's Corner restaurant, with a beach about 800 MTRS away and only one shack restaurant nearby. Don’t expect a resort. It’s a good choice if you want to get away from the irritating chaos of the North.

It’s quiet and peaceful here, with a real Goa feel. The rooms are clean and well kept, and ours had a balcony. Breakfast is included, and the staff are friendly with quick, good service. The beach is about a 10-minute walk away.

The beach takes a good 10-15 minutes to reach on foot. The restaurant seems to be the main business here, while the lodging feels like an afterthought. Our room had no toiletries, and basic courtesy was missing. They seemed hardly bothered about looking after guests.
