We’re planning to stay here again when we visit Palolem next year. For budget accommodation, it’s one of the best we’ve stayed in, with friendly, helpful staff. Parashuram deserves a special mention, he was always around when we needed help. The location is handy for the beach, cafes, restaurants, and shops selling groceries, fruit, vegetables, and souvenirs. Our room was spacious, with clothes hanging space, a large comfortable bed, clean linen and towels, a good hot shower, AC, and a fan. There was outdoor seating with a fan as well, and the fridge was a big plus for us. We were happy with what we got for the price, and the facilities are better than many budget places. Just don’t expect five star luxury.

The beach is only about 200 meters away, with shops, markets, and restaurants nearby. But the room itself was uncomfortable, the hygiene wasn’t proper, and it didn’t meet OYO Flagship standards. I’d booked well in advance after seeing the property photos on Oyo, and the actual place was very different, so I cancelled as soon as I arrived. I’d say families and women should avoid it. For guys looking for a budget trip, it may be okay.

For a budget stay near Palolem Beach, this room could work. It’s an easy walk to the beach and the nearest place to eat. The room was clean, the towels fresh, and it had air conditioning.

OYO charged close to 4k for the room, and it wasn’t worth even a few hundred rupees. The AC didn’t work, and the host was arrogant. A horrible place to stay, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The place was dirty, badly maintained, and surrounded by squalor. The owners’ pictures don’t show the whole story. WiFi and AC don’t compensate for the lack of basic cleanliness. For a “first world” traveler, it’s below backpacker standards. I’ve added more pictures.
