Royal Touch Beach Huts & Restaurant

The sea-view rooms were lovely, and the location was excellent, with the beach and market area well connected. If you need parking, call ahead: the car park is reached by a separate alley that’s easy to miss. Drive into the alley opposite Kimchi..something cafe. Reception were friendly and helpful, making check-in easy. The dining area was a different story. Most of the kitchen staff were great, but one person treated a member of my family poorly and seemed biased toward foreign travelers. That was disappointing. Management responded promptly and cooperatively when we raised it, and handled the concern professionally. It’s a lovely place, but that encounter left me rating our stay a 3 out of

The restaurant food let the stay down. Breakfast was very average and oily, with American and English breakfast options. For the roughly 6.5k I paid per night, the property felt overpriced. I’ve stayed at a four-star Taj for less per night, with breakfast and other amenities. Toiletries weren’t supplied, and there was just one pair of indoor slippers in the room. The rooms could use a nicer fragrance too. The property faces the beach, and our sea-facing room had good views. Reception staff were nice and helpful. They arranged a boat booking and found us an auto when we checked out around 10pm. They were responsive on Whatsapp and attended to our requests. Aside from the restaurant food, it was a decent stay.

The restaurant was excellent, with delicious food and plenty of variety. Everyone on staff was courteous and ready to help with questions or requests. From check-in through departure, we had an amazing stay. We’ll definitely return on our next trip, and highly recommend staying here.

The sea-view balcony was breathtaking, and that view alone made the stay worthwhile. I was there in mid-May. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were warm, especially Prem from the service team. The AC struggled somewhat in the May heat. With the premium price for a sea-view room, I was also disappointed there was no room phone or in-room dining, especially with such a great balcony.
