The rooms were okay, but quite small, and the owner was rude and hard to approach. During our three-day stay, the room wasn’t cleaned or dusted once, and we weren’t given drinking water. Don’t expect anything extra without paying. There’s a fridge in the room, but it was so dirty it could cook up a new potential virus. The owner lady was rude throughout, and the way she spoke to us ruined our mood. I spent more than two weeks in Goa and stayed here for three days, but I haven’t met anyone as rude and egoistic as her. We needed water at night and saw three or four packets in the common lobby that other guests seemed to be using. We thought the water might be complimentary and took a couple of bottles. The lady came running and shouted at us. I apologised, said it was an honest mistake, and even offered to pay, but she still wouldn’t let us take it. This happened at 12:30 at night. After I apologised, she carried on ranting for another 15 minutes, scolding us for asking if she could arrange something. She called us thieves for taking two bottles. She says we weren’t in the room on day two, but we were there until 11 am on day three and until 10 am on day four. She never asked or came to clean the room. Even the balcony was left dirty. We’d been to the beach, and there was a little sand on the doormat. It was still there on day four when we checked out. We paid 2.5k per room for what she usually gives for 1200 to 1500, and the rooms were substandard for that price. It’s a shabby hotel, and the owners’ rude and selfish attitude made the stay worse. There are two or three other places in the same lane, so try those instead. The real thief is you, robbing tourists. First learn how to respect your guests.
