The covered terrace right on the beach became our favorite spot, like a cozy living room by the sea. Sonho do Mar was exactly the kind of place we hoped to find in Goa. Our balcony rooms had sea views and were simple but charming, with a relaxed, slightly hostel-like feel in the best way. What made the stay special was the mostly Nepalese team, so warm, positive, attentive and caring. They learned guests’ names almost immediately. In the evenings they sometimes played guitar and drums together and invited guests to join, making for a lovely sense of community. The dogs and cats added to the charm. The dogs were calm, sweet, well behaved and seemed almost to watch over the hotel and guests. A few times housekeeping forgot things like towels, water or coffee items. Whenever we brought it up, it was taken care of immediately, so those small inconsistencies felt minor. If you want polished luxury, this may not be the place. But for a beautiful beachfront stay with heart, soul and genuinely kind people, it’s wonderful. We’d absolutely return.

We came to Sonho do Mar at the end of September, and getting an early check-in made our day. The resort is right on the beach, a lovely spot to relax with people you care about. There’s parking for both two-wheelers and cars, and it’s friendly for children too. Our room was clean, the service was amazing, the manager was very kind, and the helpers were warm and helpful. The food was OMG good. I’d recommend it for couples, friends, or families.

The staff were upbeat, friendly, and welcoming, and we ate well from breakfast through dinner. The vegetables tasted especially fresh in the sandwiches. It’s right on the beach, near the far end, so the view is lovely. One of the best places around here, and I’d recommend it for both a stay and a meal.

Agonda beach is usually very quiet and nearly empty, with mostly resort guests around, and this resort sits right by the beach. We spent three nights in the family bungalow, a two-room hut. The rooms were clean, in good shape, and well maintained. The people were courteous and helpful, and we had some great conversations. We ate at the restaurant throughout our stay and tried almost everything. The food was fresh and tasted great. A really good experience, and I’d recommend it.

We were a family group of about 17, and everyone enjoyed how well the team looked after us. The staff were courteous, helpful, and always ready with a smile. Our rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and had what we needed for a relaxing visit. The location made it easy to get to nearby attractions and transport, and there was a good range of tasty food. We had a wonderful stay and would happily visit again. Thanks to the team.
