The gardens, pool, beach, spa, and family areas give the resort plenty of room for both quiet time and play. Meals were another strong point, from breakfast to Indian and international dishes, with good freshness and quality throughout. The rooms feel spacious and airy, with comfortable bedding, calming views, and thoughtful details that make it easy to settle in and unwind. Service also has a personal feel: staff are warm and attentive without hovering. Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Goa brings all of that together in a calm, elegant setting.

We loved the pool facing the Arabian Sea, and the spa treatments left us feeling refreshed. A private path led straight to a clean, quiet beach, which was perfect for walks. Our villa was spacious, spotless, and nicely decorated, with crisp linens. The restaurant had fresh, delicious food and plenty of variety, and service stayed attentive and efficient. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were welcoming and helpful. It was a perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to come back for longer.

The grounds are huge, beautifully kept, and full of greenery, with peaceful views and plenty of picturesque spots. But the stay didn’t live up to what we expected from a luxury property. We came to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and our daughter’s 7th birthday. My husband had chosen the resort hoping these would be special family memories, and we had told the team about both occasions in advance. They said they’d arrange something, but on our anniversary, the 25th, there was no greeting, cake, bouquet, note, or special acknowledgment at dinner. For our daughter, the only gesture was a leaf decoration on the bed spelling “Happy Birthday.” It looked just like the “Welcome to Taj” leaf arrangement from check-in. No cake or personal touch followed. The children noticed, and it was disheartening. We felt overlooked and emotionally disconnected during moments that mattered a lot to us. Check-in was another frustration. The official time was 2:00 PM, but our room wasn’t ready until 3:30 PM, while we were still asked to complete full payment first. We were told to explore or have lunch, but traveling with children in extreme heat made the wait uncomfortable and tiring without better arrangements. Food choices also felt quite limited. We’ve stayed at premium places in India and abroad, including in Maldives and Mauritius, where special occasions were handled with warmth and planning, and we felt celebrated. I appreciate my husband’s intention in choosing this resort for our 10th anniversary, and wish the experience had matched the occasion. I hope management takes this feedback constructively. Taj is known for hospitality, and a little more attention and personalization could make a real difference for families marking milestones.

We celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary here, and the staff made it feel special. Narmin Barkatali deserves a mention for her kindness, professionalism, and thoughtful help with even the little details. Her warmth made us feel looked after. The property is gorgeous, with greenery, quiet paths, lovely rooms, and beautiful views. Our room was immaculate, the food was delicious, and the peaceful atmosphere and service were excellent. We had a wonderful stay at Taj Exotica Goa and would recommend it for comfort, luxury, and genuine hospitality.
