The Goan Courtyard Hotel

The staff were really bad. They don't have a clear check-in and checkout schedule, and they didn't give me enough time to check out properly.

The only good thing was the breakfast, which they provided after I asked and checked on it. The room had thousands of mosquitoes, but luckily we brought repellent and managed to sleep. The sheets and mattress were dirty, the toilet wasn't clean, and no towels were provided. The bed was very small for the three people I booked for, and they charged an extra 300 rs for another mattress. It felt like a place made only for couples. I first booked an OYO for my family, and it was a terrible experience overall.

After we were left waiting over an hour for breakfast, the manager responded rudely. I know mistakes happen, but there was no apology, and the attitude made it seem like this wasn't an isolated problem. The rooms were just okay, so don't expect them to look like the photos.

Cockroaches in the rooms, terrible food, and a mattress with a sharp spring sticking out at the edge that could easily have cut my leg. The way the owner and manager treated us was appalling: they were rude and no help at all. We had to pay the full room cost in cash before check-in, but they refused to give us a written receipt. I asked for five days, and they still couldn't provide one at checkout. Easily the worst hospitality experience I've ever had.
