We spent four days here, five of us across two rooms. One had a partial sea view, the other a sea view from the first floor, which is elevated. The spot is super convenient, right above Palolem Beach, and the rooms are beautiful in a simple, minimal way. These are beach shacks, so we kept our expectations low about round-the-clock service. The staff were much more welcoming and generous than we expected, and we were very comfortable. The price felt reasonable for the room quality and gorgeous location. The food was the best we had in South Goa. Kamal guided us from day one and suggested some terrific dishes: masala fish, rava fish and prawn fry, fish steak, and prawn curry with rice were the standouts. Thanks, Kamal, for such lovely service and warmth. You made us want to extend our Goa trip. We’ll be back for sure!

Noddy deserves a special thank you. He was friendly, helpful, and ready to assist with a smile, and his warm, professional manner made our visit much more enjoyable. The rest of the staff were polite and attentive too, taking care of things promptly. The Shore Beach Resort, Palolem has a perfect spot right by the beach, with lovely views and a relaxing atmosphere. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting Palolem. Looking forward to coming back!

Parvesh at reception was good and behaved well. Ask for him, since he arranged everything we requested. The rooms were spacious and nice, and they’re only 20-30 meters from the beach. For a view, though, you have to sit at the shack; you can’t see it from the rooms. We stayed five days, so these issues weren’t a one-off. The booking apps list many facilities and amenities that weren’t in the room. There was no fan, only AC, and the bathroom had no hot water or toiletries. No one cleaned the room during our stay. You have to ask reception for everything and remind them again to bring it. The staff at the resort’s shack were really rude and argued if you asked for anything beyond what they considered their scope, even if you wanted to make the trip special. The food at the shack was awful.

The online photos matched the rooms, and the price was reasonable. We especially enjoyed the peaceful setting by the beach. The hospitality was welcoming, and the stay was pleasant, wonderful, and hassle-free. We’d definitely consider coming back!

The location is the one good thing here. The washroom was in terrible shape, with poor drainage that left the whole floor flooded after a shower. There were no basic amenities, and the resort felt poorly maintained with little care for guests. Disappointing, and not worth the price.
