We stayed for 8 days as a group of 16, ranging in age from 6 to 75, and made a lot of memories. The owner asked every day if we needed anything and had covered almost all our needs: lots of kitchen utensils, a mixer grinder, toaster, microwave, even an idli maker. There was also a fully automatic washing machine and an extension board in every room. We had a great stay.
We loved being so close to good beaches, restaurants, and shops at Villa Reverie. It was our second family stay there in two years, this August, and it was just as comfortable as the first. The villa was still very well furnished and looked after, with no noticeable decline since our visit a year and a half earlier. Pratibha, the owner, was quick to respond whenever we needed anything.
That terrace bar was a handy place for a drink before heading out to dinner or a club. I also really liked all the balconies and terraces for watching the sunset with a book. The rooftop pool felt private and was a lovely place to unwind during my November stay at Villa Reverie. The rooms were clean, roomy, and comfortable. The villa has a welcoming, homey feel alongside modern styling, and the host was warm and friendly. For the price, it felt like a great deal and a welcome break from city life.
The location made for an easygoing Goa break, convenient but still peaceful. We were a group of friends at Villa Reverie, and the pool and living room quickly became our favorite spots. The bedrooms were clean and the beds comfortable, and the spacious villa looked just like the photos. Mrs Prathiba was always a call away and so helpful and polite. She sorted out the music setup, gave us directions, and helped connect us with local contacts, which made things easy. The place has a cozy, carefully designed look with a luxurious but homely feel. We'd happily come back with friends or family.
We got an early check-in thanks to the owner, which was a real help. For a group mainly after space and a spot near Betalbatim Beach, this can work, though the overall feel was closer to a two-star place than a luxury stay. Guests wanting more upscale features may find it overpriced. The layout gives you a living room, kitchen, and two bedrooms downstairs, then four more bedrooms upstairs. A few of the upper rooms have balconies, and the rooftop has a pool and terrace bar with potential for gatherings. The villa is spacious, but the mattresses were very soft. The living room had a sofa and several plastic chairs, enough seats for us but a fairly basic setup. It is about a 10-minute walk to the beach, so we didn't need transport for that, and cars can reach the villa too. The nearby dirt roads could be inconvenient in rainy weather. The place was clean and maintained to a basic, functional standard. The caretaker helped with cleaning, though he tended to repeat the same things and was only around for cleaning. We were asked to wash our feet whenever we came in to keep sand out. It made sense, but got tedious, and a more convenient arrangement would help. The kitchen worked and had enough crockery, a gas stove, and basic utensils, so we could make some meals for the kids. Food delivery had plenty of options. There was handwash in the bathroom, shampoo sachets, and hot water from the geyser. Towels were changed when requested. The rooftop pool was a nice touch, but there wasn't a place to sit and relax beside it. We didn't use the terrace bar.
