TIH P3 Camp - Pangong

We got some excellent night sky shots from the camp ground. Right by the lake, the camp itself was roomy, clean, and safe, with western toilets. The staff were well behaved and the food was decent.

Electricity was on from 7pm to 10pm, dinner came at 8pm, and breakfast was served at 7.30am. The washrooms and basins were clean, and the food was fresh and tasty. The tents are in a great spot, though the chain problem should be fixed soon since strong winds come through at night. A few more mobile charging points would help, and bonfires might encourage more people to visit. I appreciate the effort they put into serving guests well, especially when bringing food supplies and other things into this area must be difficult. Keep it up!

I found the cottages more comfortable than the camps. They provide warm comforters, and each cottage has an attached toilet with water available all day. Hot water is supplied for half an hour in the morning, and meals are served in the dining area. The food was really tasty. There are comfortable stays available at Pangong lake, with both camps and cottages to choose from.

The tent was roomy and cosy for glamping, with four layers of sheets and blankets on the bed. There’s a flushing toilet, and hot water is available in the morning if needed. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the lakeside, much like the other tents near shooting point in this part of pangong. The staff were kind, and the food was great considering how far you are from civilisation. These guys did a great job, and deserve a better rating.
